Senior Test Specialist – Test Automation, IT Support department

  •  Analyzed requirements, wrote functional specs, designed, developed automated Regression Tests and Sanity Check Test for the “Trading System” and the “Market Supervision” products. Executed tests, analyzed results, reported and tracked faults. Trained users; wrote user manuals.

  •  Identified processes for the Test Automation, according to the V-model of software lifecycle. Defined the Strategy, Policy and Standards of Test Automation. Worked at the Road Map of Test Automation.

  •  Introduced metrics for evaluating the efficiency of Test Automation. Forecasted the ROI – Return on Investment, when replacing manual with automated tests.

Database designer – Call Center EnBW

  • Defined requirements for generating a new Database, for a Call Center, in collaboration with the Vantive and GUI teams. 

  • Worked on database design. Developed PL-SQL programs to migrate date from several databases into the new Call Center database..

Software Consultant – IT Group

  • Analyzed, designed, developed country specific packages for the Address Data Management product (ADM). Responsible with ADM for country projects (Slovakia, South Africa and Austria).

  •  Analyzed, defined functional needs, wrote technical specification to introduce 12 digits Postal Delivery Code, for New Zealand project. 

  • Designed and developed the data migration application. 

  • Wrote User Documentation.

Software Consultant – Pattern recognition Group

  •  Analyzed functionality, defined new algorithms for pattern recognition in mail-piece processing; implemented the new algorithms, tested; obtained avg. 10% improvement in recognition rate.

  •  Tuning, for China project, to achieve higher read rate, lower error rate. 

  •  Designed, developed new modules for 'Address Block Location' library, for recognition of special patterns in the mailpiece.

Software Consultant - Quantitative Equity Trading Group

  • Data analysis, data modeling for warrants pricing. Designed, developed programs to model: stock volatility, based on Black-Scholes model; warrants behavior, based on Whaley model; the stocks’ tracking error compared to the Nikkei225 index.

  •  Designed, developed, installed in production-crontab job- a  “Stocks' Volatility Daily Forecast” program.

  •  Developed various Teknekron client applications to extract real-time financial data;

  •  Developed Sybase client applications;

  •  Examined the performance of several market-data providers: Bloomberg, Reuters, Bridge, to support the acquisition decision.

Software Consultant - Portfolio Management Group

  • Analyzed the business process, wrote functional specs, designed, developed, tested and installed in production several large applications: `Volume Report' for the Portfolio Analytics System, "Stock bid/ask approximation", “Start-of-the-day”, `End of the Day' sub-system of the "Portfolio Management System".

  • Performed functional analysis, collaborated with traders in defining needs, wrote technical specs for a Market data User Interface. Implemented it using MarketSheet from Teknekron.

Project Leader - Special Software Development Division

  • Lead a team of 3 engineers in the design, development, implementation of large image processing, computer graphics projects. Performed functional analysis, wrote specs for image processing projects.

  • Defined new algorithms for  `loop vector' editing, in scanned maps. Object Oriented conception and software architecture definition for “Land map correction ESY2”, based on the new algorithms, as well as design and development work for the project.

  •  Project leading and development work for “Multi-functional Driver” for Mitsubishi Color Printer, for Sun. Project co-ordination for the versions for Silicon Graphics Iris, HP Apollo and NEC stations. 

  •  Performed functional analysis, defined technical specs for 3D CAD for mechanics and machinery design; team-leading, design, development of Graphi-CAD product (SUN Solaris). Coordinated and developed the Macintosh Graphi-CAD product.

  •  Team-leading, development for a Macintosh-based `Digital Video Mixer’ DVM, that controls the transfer of analog or digital, NTSC or HDTV images between a Frame Memory and a range of video devices. DVM was bought by Sharp, Hitachi, Toshiba, and Sony. Developed the DVM ver.2.0, with HyperCard.

 Wrote the technical documentation for all the products developed.
